Blaze just stared at me, obviously perplexed. "You're in love with me?" she asked me gently.

"Y-Yeah," I responded slowly.

"So...what did I say in return?" Blaze asked curiously.

"You said....you loved me too..." I began. I could sense an oncoming rejection; my heart was beginning to tear.

"I said that?" Blaze asked.

"Yeah."
I hung my head, sadness filling me now. Blaze just stood there and stared at me.
"Sonic, I just got broken by Silver," Blaze said firmly.

"I know! I know! I know!" I wept. Blaze didn't say anything in response as she stood there. I could tell she was thinking long and hard about all this.

"I dunno Sonic," she told me softly. I felt my eyes welling up.

"It's okay, I understand," I sighed sadly.

"I just need some time to thing about this," Blaze told me calmly.

"Okay."

Blaze waved and started walking away. My heart growing increasingly heavier with each step she took. When she was gone, the dam in my eyes holding my tears broke. I just knew she didn't return the love for me. I felt like she'd just rejected me, but in the nicest way possible. See, this is why love isn't your thing, said the voice in my head.
"What're you talking about?! You're the one that told me I was so in love with her," I told myself aloud. Sighing, I say down under the oak tree and looked at the grass, but luckily my tears have stopped.

"Sonic?" Blaze's voice rang out. I looked up, feeling a last beam of hope. Blaze walked to me and looked at me.

"Blaze?" I wept.

"Are you really in love with me?" Blaze asked gently.

"Yeah," I sniffled, hanging my head.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because you're beautiful, inside and out. You're calm, strong, smart, and you stand up for yourself. That's a few of things I admire about you."

"How long have you felt this way?"

"I...I think quite awhile, I just never realized it until today."

Blaze sat down next to me and looked at me straight in the eyes. She didn't say anything, she just looked into my eyes. I couldn't tell what she was feeling this time, but I was trying not to let myself get caught up in her eyes. She then reached into her pocket and pulled out a card. I grabbed it and saw it was a Valentines card that said "Be My Valentine". "That was originally for Silver, but he didn't want it. You can have it," she told me contently.

"No...no, I cannot have this Blaze, you already gave me a Valentine," I told her sadly. She shook her head and leaned towards me so that our heads were almost touching.

"Be my Valentine," she whispered.

"But Blaze-" I began. But she put her fingers on my lips.

"Take it or leave it," she told me firmly. I nodded vigorously. "Good," she told me, taking her fingers off.

"Blaze, do you love m-" I began with a small whine.

"Don't push it. We're taking this slowly."

"Okay princess. Whatever is comfortable for you. As long as there's anything to take slowly at all."

Blaze gently kissed the spot below my left ear and feeling her soft lips there sent shock waves through my body. Blaze pulled away and smiled lovingly at me, and I returned the loving smile, wiping my sticky eyes. "Don't cry Sonikku," she soothed. My heart skipped a beat when I heard her give me this term of endearment. It was a lot more pleasant to hear this name from a beautiful princess instead of an annoying fan girl. Blaze gently put her hand on my face and wiped away the last of my tears. It felt nice to feel her soft hands on my face. When she was done with that she looked up at the sky, and I did as well, and saw the millions of stars speckling the night sky. "Once again, the stars in my dimension aren't as beautiful as these," Blaze remarked. I didn't respond, I just looked up at the stars with her, loving the feeling of her warm body beside me.

"Are you alright?" I asked her, and she looked at me questioningly.

"Yeah, why?" she asked me gently.

"I mean cause you took quite a damage when Silver attacked you."

"Silver attacked me?"

"Yeah. When you were passed out, I confronted Silver and he threw you. But I stood up for you."

"Really?" Blaze's face went pink. "Nobody's ever done that for me."

"Of course. I couldn't just let Silver insult you left and right," I responded softly. Blaze hung her head at this. "Hey, don't be down princess. Who needs Silver? He's insignificant," I soothed her, putting my hands on her chin to lift her head.

"Yeah," Blaze sighed.

"C'mon princess, he doesn't matter now. I've got your back, you don't need to worry about him anymore. It's in my heart to treat you better than he did. You deserve better," I whispered softly, and finally she smiled, a sight that I wouldn't trade for the world. "There's you're beautiful smile. I was starting to think that that frown would never be inverted," I said happily with a smile in return, and Blaze giggled lightly.

"What are you doing?!?!" Ugh. Amy again. She was coming up, her fists clenched by her sides. I jumped to my feet.

"Amy-" I began.

"YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MY VALENTINE!!! NOT BLAZE'S!!! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!" Amy bawled, stamping her foot.

"Amy you can't put a claim on me, I never accepted to be your Valentine," I insisted firmly.

"Yeah you did!!! TAILS SAID YOU DID!!!" Amy clamored.

"No he didn't. You're making stuff up," I told her coolly.

"What about my gifts!!??" Amy roared. "WHAT ABOUT MY AFFECTION?!?"

"Amy, I just don't like you in that way."

But Amy pelted my skull with her hammer. "Amy! STOP!" Blaze hissed, igniting her hands and getting up. Amy backed away as Blaze closed in on her. "Leave him alone!! He's with me now!" Blaze snapped. Hearing her say that last sentence made me feel wanted and special. Amy gave Blaze a glare so nasty it would've annihilated Blaze in a heartbeat if looks could kill. She stormed away angrily.
"Thanks Blazey," I sighed.

"Hey, you did it for me," Blaze replied, turning around to face me and extinguished her hands.

"It's because it's my style, and because I love y--I like you a lot," I responded happily. Blaze smiled happily and wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me into a hug. I immediately returned the hug and pulled her body closer to mine. I felt her lips touch my right ear and it flickered, and another shock jolted my body. Blaze rested her head on my shoulder and my heart was pounding fast, unable to believe that the girl I thought I lost was starting to fall for me. Blaze stifled a huge yawn. "Is my princess sleepy?" I asked with a slight chuckle.

"A bit," Blaze responded.

"Want me to take you to Cream's?" I asked her softly. Since Blaze came here from her dimension, she didn't really live here so she would stay at Cream's when she visited.

"Yeah," Blaze responded happily.

"Okay princess. Is it okay if I carry you? Your body has been through a lot today," I offered.

"Okay, but I want to do something first."

"Sure princess. What is it?"
Then Blaze grabbed my head and pressed her lips onto mine, and there were more shocks in my body but they were more intense, and my heart shot out of my chest. I kissed her back and I wrapped my hands around her body and pulled her closer. As her lips caressed mine, I felt like I had just got done running a marathon. My adrenaline was soaring, fed by my rapid palpitating heart. It was because I had Blaze's warm, soft body pressed up against mine and I had my arms around her holding her tight. I was tasting her sweet, tender lips, which like in my dream was better than chili dogs tenfold. I could smell Blaze's peachy fur, and that was all I could smell because it seemed like I lost focus on the world around me and was only focused on this beautiful girl in front of her, her lips gently kissing mine. I could hear our smacking lips as well as my own heartbeat in my ears. And I had my eyes closed I would see a beautiful princess in front of me. The kiss was pleasing to all five of my senses and then some, it was the most exhilarating kiss I've ever shared with somebody. Kissed with Sally had lacked passion. But the kiss with Blaze was filled with nothing but pure love and affection, and I wanted to show it to Blaze. I gently rubbed my hands through her soft, fine fur. I loved the feeling of it flowing through my fingers. She was soft just like a kitten. She ran my hands through my quills, and I loved the thrill of the feel. As I kissed her, I couldn't help but think in my head: I love you so much, I love you so much, I love you so much, over and over in my head. My previously argumentative mind was at peace now. Blaze scooted closer to me and I could feel her heart beating against my stomach. It was beating as fast as--if not faster than--my own. Blaze moved her hands down my back and gently gave my back a small massage, and it felt nice. The kiss felt like it lasted all night. I wasn't looking forward to letting go, so I tightened my grip on her; not just because I didn't want her to let go but because the massage she was giving me felt great. She tightened her grip on me in response, and it made me happy to know she wasn't looking forward to letting go of me either. I could feel her love almost seeping into me, it felt like Blaze and I melted together into one love puddle. Blaze quit massaging my back and just rested them on my shoulders. I wanted to return the favor, so I started massaging her shoulders. And in mid-kiss she started to moan softly. Then she pulled away, to my disappointment, but only to yawn.

"Heh heh, how about we get this sleepy princess to bed?" I asked lovingly, my lips raw.

"What about you?" she asked me, looking straight into my loving eyes.

"I'm not tired, I might just go for a night run or something," I told her gently.

"Can you stay with me at Cream's until I fall asleep?" Blaze asked almost pleadingly.

"Of course sweet princess. If that's what you want."
Blaze nodded and I put one hand under her butt and one on her head and scooped her up. Immediately she snuggled into my chest and got cozy. I took off running from there without missing a beat, but I was careful not to go too fast or run too hard so Blaze would be comfortable. We reached Cream's in no time, and I entered quietly I'm case Cream and Vanilla were asleep. I gently slipped into the guest room and gently placed Blaze onto the bed. She immediately melted right into it and closed her eyes. I took off her muddy boots and draped the blankets over her soft body and tucked her in. She was too sleepy to care. "Sleep well my princess. Happy Valentines Day," I whispered lovingly, kissing her jawline.

"Happy Valentines Day," Blaze mumbled sleepily. I chuckled softly and kissed her cheek. I sat on the bed beside her and started stroking her cheek and hair softly. "I love you," Blaze mumbled. I smiled and blushed. I knew she was probably dozing, and wasn't aware of what she was saying because she wanted to take it slowly. But I already knew she loved me.
"I love you too Blazey," I whispered, kissing her jawline. But Blaze was already asleep. Feeling loving and happy, I got up and decided to leave Blaze alone, even though I longed to pour affection on her. I slipped out of the guest took quietly and shutting the door with a small click. And smiling, I left Cream's house.
I told you you love Blaze, piped up my mind.

Not exactly. I felt a love for Blaze long before you said anything. It was just dormant. I told my mind with a leer. And whether my mind was right or not, I was just glad to have Blaze as my Valentine.

End.
I like to base the Sonaze relationship off my own :iconsonicblushplz:
